This is my FIRST blog! I am super excited to start blogging my photography journey. I am going to be completely honest, however, I am not someone who can blog daily, so I plan to blog on Mondays and then wrap up the week by blogging on Friday. I thought it would be good to take the opportunity of our first blog to tell you a little about Russell Photography, and our team here!

My husband Rusty and I started this business together in 2010. It started as a passion of mine, and quickly grew into a full time blessing! In November of 2011, I left my Career in the only field I have ever known, and leaped into the Photography World head first! Since then, God has blessed us exceedingly more than we ever imagined when this began. Although Rusty can not attend many shoots with me anymore due to his busy schedule with the church, he still second shoots my Weddings and we are blessed to be able to do that together! 2013 is a busy year, full of Weddings, so I have hired a Part Time shooter to fill the gap when Rusty is unable to attend. She is phenomenal, and such a burst of joy!She has a true passion for photography, and I feel so honored to add her to our team! Please help me to welcome Mica!

Ashley is a Senior in High School this year. We met Ashley in our church, as one of our Youth Students.She quickly became part of our family! Ashley is our fun loving, dependable and TALENTED PT Photo Editor. Ashley has serious Photoshop skills! She is a blessing to our life in so many ways, and I could not imagine trusting anyone more with our images than we do Ashley!
